In Memorial to
Robert "Bob" Foster
August 16th, 1947 - July 11th, 2006
Fellow Cruiser
"We were then joined in block 4 by
close friends and family of Bob Foster, fellow Cruiser, that
passed away less than a week ago. Judy, his wife would be
bringing out the '37 Ford "Slant Back" that made it's maiden
voyage to Louisville, Kentucky just last August after a nine
year build. I know you have all seen this "Black Beauty" with
the license plate "THE FOZ" all around Central Florida and here at Old Town. He started to Cruise
Old Town more than a decade ago with a '60 Red T-Bird Convertible.....
then right on time, after the "safety
announcements", a moment of silence for Bob Foster and the
National Anthem. The "Saturday Nite Cruise©" started it's turn
past Richard to make it's way to "Deac Hundley Blvd"
I included the photo of the car as most Cruisers know others by
the cars they drive.
