August 31st:
SCTNC The decision
was made by "Mustang Mike" to call tonight's event a RAINOUT earlier in
the week. The impending arrival of "Ernesto" prompted this. Even though
he has gone towards the Carolina's the rain chances are over 70% for
today.
August 30th:
WNCI
Officially a RAINOUT, Tropical Depression "Ernesto", named because he
was a Hurricane dropped much needed rain on Central Florida.

Somebody up there must like the Friday Night Cruise, we were favored
with another beautiful evening for our get together tonight. The rains
held off and the temperature cooled off just right for a comfortable

August 24th:
SCTNC Well the
weatherman was right! 60% chance covered us in Kissimmee and Saint
Cloud. It was raining at 4:00 when we headed for the Cruise-In in the
Corvair. "Mustang Mike" rolled in about 4:30.

WNCI
60% chance of rain didn't stop Tommy & Paul from coming out tonight.,
Linda and I arrived at 4:30, "Mustang Mike" rolled in a bit afterwards

SNC There
was a 40% chance that rain would not come down on the Cruise tonight.
The trip to Plant City by some was canceled due to the fact that there

Tonight looked as

One could not have asked for a
better day for a Cruise-In the weather was a typical Florida late summer
day, with out the rain. Everyone seems to come out a little later than

was hot, that is why I moved to Florida some 26 years ago. Linda
traveled half way round the world to live here for that reason alone. To

What a beautiful day! Temperatures around

What a fantastic day, a real Florida weather day, the high was right at
about 90 degrees, light breeze and low humidity. We arrived at about
